Wallet pass

Your card in your customers' pocket, with no app to install

The Wallet pass puts a card straight into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet: a coupon, a visitor card, an access badge or a flash offer. Your customers add it in one click, with nothing to download. You update it remotely and send a push notification to their screen whenever you want.

Loyalty, coupon, flash offer: your card installs itself in your customers' phone in one click. You update it remotely and push a notification whenever you like.

How it works

What the Wallet pass is, and what it changes for you

The Wallet pass is a communication channel that lives in your customers' digital wallet, the card app already present on every phone: Apple Wallet on iPhone, Google Wallet on Android. You put a card of your own in there: a special deal, a discount coupon, a time-limited offer, a privilege card.

The difference with an email or a text is that the card stays. It does not get lost in an inbox, and it does not get uninstalled like an app. It waits in the wallet, and when you have something to say, a notification appears right on the customer's screen.

Works with your loyalty scheme

The Wallet pass connects to your loyalty programme: your points, statuses and rules are reflected on the card. All in Box provides the channel, your loyalty logic stays yours.

Creating it

Create your wallet card in a few minutes

From a visual editor, with no development and no app to publish to the stores. You design it, you configure it, you share it.

  • You design the front and the back in your own colours: logo, details, QR code, with a live preview.
  • You configure the format to suit your goal: a long-term points card or a dated flash offer.
  • You distribute it by QR code, link, button or email. Your customers add it in one click.

Two formats

Two formats, depending on your goal

The same wallet channel, two ways of using it.

Long-term customer card

Live status and points, member-only offers, birthdays and tiers, and it can be connected to your loyalty programme.

Flash offer

An expiry date, a promo code or a QR at the till, immediate response. Ideal for sales, launches and events.

Use cases

Who it is for, sector by sector

One channel, used differently depending on your business.

Restaurants & cafés

A customer card that can plug into a programme, a dated happy hour deal, a wallet push for the announcements of the day.

“Your customers keep your card without cluttering their wallet.”

Tourist offices

A discovery pass for the area, a visitor card with local deals, seasonal updates to the offers.

“The pass visitors keep even after their stay.”

Parks & entertainment

A season pass with an access QR, a limited reduced-rate deal, a push for real-time news.

“Your season ticket holders always have their access badge on them.”

Entry points

Four ways to get your Wallet pass installed

Online or in store, adding it takes one click.

  • A QR code in the window, on a flyer, the packaging or the till receipt. The customer scans, the pass is added.
  • A public link, the pass’s own URL, shareable anywhere: social media, SMS, email signature.
  • An “Add to wallet” button on your website or your landing page.
  • An email, by dropping the pass into a campaign built in All in Box.

After it is installed

Once installed, you keep the connection

The pass is not a frozen card. You keep talking through it after it is installed, right on the customer's screen.

Wallet push

A notification appears on the customer’s screen. You push an announcement to every holder or to one segment. It is the most-opened channel you have.

Updating the card

You change the design or the content, and it syncs to every holder’s pass. Points balance, a new offer, a change of hours: the card is always current, with nothing for the customer to do.

Steering it after launch

You track installs, updates and conversions in real time, filterable by pass. Networks and agencies steer every pass from a single interface.

Customer story

A business that keeps in touch, card in pocket

Keeping existing customers and turning new visitors into customers

Kidoom chose to roll out the wallet pass to keep their existing customers and encourage them to come back, through promotions and dedicated offers. The idea was also to build loyalty among new visitors through something other than email and SMS.

The results: more than a hundred passes activated, more than three offers already sent, and visits up by several per cent.

Alongside their usual channels, email and print, the wallet pass helps Kidoom bring customers back and turn visitors into new customers.

Frequently asked questions

What we get asked most

What kind of card can I create?

A loyalty card with points and status, a visitor card, an access badge, a coupon or a time-limited flash offer. You choose the format to suit your goal and personalise the front and the back in your own colours.

Do my customers need an app to use the Wallet pass?

No. The card is added straight to Apple Wallet on iPhone or Google Wallet on Android, two apps already present on the phone. Your customers install nothing: they add it in one click from a QR code, a link, a button or an email.

Can I connect my loyalty programme?

Yes. The Wallet pass connects to your loyalty programme: your points, your statuses and your rules are reflected on the card. All in Box does not create the programme, it provides the wallet channel and shows whatever your loyalty logic sends it.

Can I create and manage several cards separately?

Yes. You create as many cards as you need and steer them from a single interface, with installs, updates and conversions tracked for each one.

Does creating a Wallet pass cost anything?

No. Creating a card is included in your All in Box subscription, with no add-on and no extra cost.
